1- What are the dates of the White Air Extreme Sports Festival 2007

August 27th-Sept 2nd 2007

1-b When are the Red Arrows on?

August 1st Sept 2pm at the White Air site (RAF Falcons 10am)

2- How do I get tickets?

Daily tickets on the door or for week and weekend deals you can buy tickets from either TicketWeb or IOW Tourism sources Tickets link


2b- What tickets are available? Family, Adult, Youth: week, weekend Wednesday evening: 'Live with the Bees' 6.30pm-10pm Friday evening: 'Platform One Live Stage' group evening 6.30-10pm Friday Deep Party: 8pm-late (offsite 100 yards away)

Sat Party: 8pm-late (offsite 100 yards away)

3- Where is the festival held? Where are the Parties?

The main venue for the festival is Yaverland, Sandown, Isle of Wight. All the day events and both live music evenings are held on site.

The two night parties on Fri+Sat are held just a hundred yards away at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre


4- How do I get there from the mainland?

Ferries run from Portsmouth(car), Lymington(car), Ryde(passenger)

5- Where do i park?

Park and 'free' Ride will run every 30min from Sandown High School. There is no parking onsite.

5-b Is it a camping festival?

There is no camping on site at the festival. We have camping arranged at Ninham farm just 5mins from the site

We also have park and free ride in place every 30mins from 'Sandown High School' that goes direct to the site during the day time 10am-7pm (last bus from site is 7pm).

6- Is it suitable for children? Are there things to do for them?

The White Air festival is great for all ages. There are workshops for 3+, bouncy castles, bungy runs, latest EA games, 14 'Have a Go'public sports (7yrs and over), art and face painting, music mixing(just sign up each day and try the latest sports and equipment), a live stage with lots of groups, large selection of food stalls, trade and retail under cover areas, beach sports, displays, red Arrows, raf falcons, falling rocks, and open public park sessions in skate and mtnboard.

7- What is 'Have a Go!'

This was set-up to allow all the public to try out the latest sports, music, arts and actually get interactive within the White Air festival. Over 14 options to choose from, some are free and some involve a small fee.

8- What groups are playing?

Some 50 groups are playing over 7 days and 2 evenings.
